Abstract
Museums play a crucial role in education by preserving and displaying cultural and scientific heritage. A pharmacology museum serves as a valuable teaching-learning tool for medical students, offering insights into the history, development, and application of drugs. This narrative article describes the recent updates performed at pharmacology museum at Pramukh Swami Medical College, enhancing its utility for Phase II undergraduate medical students. The museum exhibits include drug specimens aligned with the National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) 2022, Look-Alike Sound-Alike (LASA) drugs, Fixed Dose Combinations (FDCs), Nobel laureates' contributions and awards, routes of drug administration and antimicrobial resistance awareness information. Residents and faculty members played a key role in curating and structuring the content to ensure clarity and educational relevance. The updates align with competency-based medical education (CBME) guidelines, enabling students to gain comprehensive knowledge in pharmacology through self-directed learning.
